Bloom time is intimately linked and entirely dictated by the temperature shift from cold to warm; when (and how quickly) this shift occurs impacts flowering times from year to year, but I’ve narrowed the following combinations down to a typical bloom window here in Connecticut.

Go for Heirloom Daffodils and Forsythia Branches: These create a lively combination of reaching yellow flowered branches and fluffy butter cream toned blooms.
