Welcome! I'm Izy, the crazy passionate flower artist behind Rocky. I can’t wait to get to know you!
Since the idea for Rocky began in 2019, I’ve been on a mission to create jaw-dropping, locally-grown, one-of-a-kind floral designs; and in 2023, I left my corporate life behind to fully dedicate myself to this passion-project-turned-career (some are calling it an obsession… I’ll take it as a compliment!)
At Rocky, I specialize in bold, sculptural, and unapologetically creative floral design for couples who want their wedding to make people actually feel something. I find the key to that is collaboration, trust, and plenty of rule-breaking.

Floral artistry is more than just a nice arrangement. I’ll consider candlelight design, textures, and specialty seasonal blooms, all layered to create a unique vibe.

We'll curate the flow from ceremony to reception, and I'll play with textures, color, and scale to create dimension and drama. This could look like tablescapes layered with fruit, textiles, and ceramics; ceremony installations at maximum scale; and transitions throughout each space to shift the energy of the day.

It’s really a matter of perspective!
Local flower farmers are known to be more experimental in what varieties they grow than importers; which means access to unique blooms you can’t get anywhere else. Plus, many high-demand flowers are ONLY available in the local market, because they can’t be shipped.
That said, if your heart is set on tropical flowers, crisp white roses, or baby’s breath, these simply aren’t available locally - so a different florist would be a better fit for you.

Not the way I operate!
Sustainability is foundational to Rocky Floral, from my regenerative pesticide-free flower farm to your event designs. All florals are composted after event break down, feeding back into the soil they came from. All vessels are cleaned and reused, and plastics are minimized at all opportunities.
In contrast to the imported flower industry, which is known to use dangerous levels of pesticides and packaging in single use use plastics, we keep our operation clean and as low as possible in trash production.

A resounding YES. While I think it should be a given, I want you to be so certain that I respect and uphold love in all of its beautiful forms. While the wedding industry can be overly heteronormative in language and representation, I personally strive for inclusivity in my language, my actions, and my presence both on and offline.
Being an inclusive, LGBTQ+ friendly florist is incredibly important to me, and I’m here to celebrate you - not regardless of who you are and who you love - but BECAUSE of who you are and who you love.

We don’t do copy-and-paste flowers; our method is all about pushing boundaries and creating completely original wedding flowers. We do this through out-of-the-box brainstorming, design deep dives, vision boarding, and color-theory informed palette curation; with every element built around you & your partner.

In general, 8% - 20% of your overall budget will go towards wedding flowers (depending on your priorities). For full coverage from ceremony to reception, I find that most couples invest a minimum of $12,000 on their flowers. I offer several service tiers for a range of budgets.
