Meet Izy
owner, lead designer, & your creativity amplifier
Welcome, I'm Izy (she/her). I'm so glad you're here!
Since the idea for Rocky began in 2019, I’ve been on a mission to create floral experiences that stop people in their tracks; and in 2023, I left my corporate career to fully dedicate myself to this craft. What started as a hobby has turned into a full blown floral design studio & flower farming operation: basically, I design, grow, and dream in flowers 24/7… not because I have to but because I get to.
At Rocky, I specialize in bold, sculptural, and unapologetically creative floral design for couples who want their wedding to feel anything but ordinary. My approach is collaborative, personal, and highly expressive: I’ll listen deeply to your story, interpret your aesthetic, and then translate it into art; something you, something unforgettable.
You deserve wedding flowers that are beyond “pretty;” they should stop you in your tracks, make your guests gasp, and stay vivid in your memory for years to come. I’m here to execute that experience - flawlessly.
“Izy is not your run-of-the-mill florist. She is truly an artist”

Your Floral Experience Looks Like…
As your design lead, I'm here to help pull your creative ideas to the surface and conceptualize how we'll make it your own.
Artistic Collaboration
-
From the preliminary call to design deep dive meetings, we'll explore emotions you want to evoke, and how each design presents an opportunity to elevate the experience. My philosophy: you deserve to work with a floral designer who can interpret your identity through an artistic lens - and with your trust, I'm here to actualize that.
Together, we'll examine how dynamic color transitions, unexpected finishes such as metals and fabrics, and provocative statement pieces can build a distinctive tone.
Expressive Hyper-Personalization
-
You can expect hand-selected vases from my suite of trusted sources, experimental color theory informing each palette we touch on, and unique materials to create deeper intrigue. Your initial proposal is just the starting point; as we move into the design phase, we'll explore and personalize each distinctive design detail.
I believe true floral artistry is much more than just arranging flowers — with your wedding day, we have a unique opportunity create an atmosphere through the unfolding layers of your designs.
Multi-Sensory Layering
-
We'll curate the flow from ceremony to reception, and I'll play with textures as a tool for tension, color for depth and dimension, and scale that creates drama. This could look like tablescapes layered with fruit, textiles, and ceramics; ceremony installations that create a world of your own; and scents chosen to enhance the energy of the day.
Consider me your dedicated guide; here to invite you into my creative process from initial concept to expansive visioneering.
My Signature High-Touch Process
-
With multiple design meetings, venue walkthroughs, and coordination with your wedding planner, my process is deliberately designed to make you feel supported - and create a depth you can't find just anywhere. As your floral designer, you can trust that your wedding florals will stand apart.
“Izy at Rocky Floral is a revelation”

It’s really a matter of perspective!
Local flower farmers are known to be more experimental in what varieties they grow than importers; which means access to unique blooms you can’t get anywhere else. Plus, many high-demand flowers are ONLY available in the local market, because they can’t be shipped.
That said, if your heart is set on tropical flowers, crisp white roses, or baby’s breath, these simply aren’t available locally - so a different florist would be a better fit for you.

Not the way I operate!
Sustainability is foundational to Rocky Floral, from my regenerative pesticide-free flower farm to your event designs. All florals are composted after event break down, feeding back into the soil they came from. All vessels are cleaned and reused, and plastics are minimized at all opportunities.
In contrast to the imported flower industry, which is known to use dangerous levels of pesticides and packaging in single use use plastics, we keep our operation clean and as low as possible in trash production.

A resounding YES. While I think it should be a given, I want you to be so certain that I respect and uphold love in all of its beautiful forms. While the wedding industry can be overly heteronormative in language and representation, I personally strive for inclusivity in my language, my actions, and my presence both on and offline.
Being an inclusive, LGBTQ+ friendly florist is incredibly important to me, and I’m here to celebrate you - not regardless of who you are and who you love - but BECAUSE of who you are and who you love.

In general, 8% - 20% of your overall budget will go towards wedding flowers (depending on your priorities). My clients spend an average of $11,500 on Full Service floral design, though I offer several service tiers for a range of budgets.
